Deep Depth of Field

Depth of field photography requires knowing how to adjust aperture and making it work with the other important settings. Aperture is what controls the amount of light that reaches the image sensor. It also affects the depth of field. A smaller aperture (f/22) creates a deep depth of field and a large aperture (f/2.8) creates a shallow depth of field. A deep depth of field means that everything will be in focus and a shallow depth of field means that only the subject will be in focus (everything else will be blurred out). This assignment was to take three different kinds of pictures using depth of field. The first picture was taken with a shallow depth of field. The second picture was taken with a medium depth of field. The last picture was taken with a deep depth of field.
